Apex, weren't you going to buy a Lotus Elise? Or am I just hallucinating? If you were/did, what happened/how is it? If you did, where are the pics? :)

Those things are so overpriced right now. Maybe when the hype starts to die down. But I really do like the look of them. I'd love to get one.

If he had pre ordered it, he should have gotten it by now. He could make some nice change by selling it.

Took too long, finally decided to cancel. They promised delivery 4/2004, was still calling them up to this month. Still love the car though.

Took too long, finally decided to cancel. They promised delivery 4/2004, was still calling them up to this month. Still love the car though.

So what did you end up going with? Or are you still waiting to decide? Thought you were looking at the British car that you can get from that place here in Ohio. Can't remember the name of it, started with an R, no?

Their manufacturing was not up to snuff. Delays, low production, etc. Plus, the dealer lied about the timeline. I ended up just getting a kit car. Ah well, live and learn.

Someone in my office building has an Elise.
That thing is like 6" off the ground. It's pretty hilarious watching the guy try to get in and out gracefully :P
