i'm just curious, because i tend to set my mouse sensitivity high, so that i can move pretty much anywhere on the screen without sliding off the mousepad or having to lift and reposition the mouse. basically, i can move from one edge of my screen to the other by the time i'm only halfway across the mousepad.

so why do i want to know? i recently have had to use a couple of different computers whose mouse sensitivity was set real low, and it frustrated the HELL out of me. so i just wanted to know if that was normal and i'm just a freak.

oh, and sorry if the thread title seemed like a lead-in to some pun, like the mouse balls memo (http://www.snopes.com/humor/business/mouse.htm) . :)

Whatever the default for the MX700 is -- I can go across my 1680x1050 display easily by only going across 1/3 of my mouspad.
