I've been looking for video clips of the narcaleptic wiener dogs. So far, I have the "Rusty" video. If anyone else has them, or a link to them (you see them in college psychology classes, and sometimes anatomy classes), please pm me.

TIA.

(they are VERY funny...and a little tragic)

wait, i think that's the one where they just like appear to fall asleep right? we saw a video in biology, and this weiner dog escapes from his appartment, and the security camera caught him running down the hall, and all of the sudden, he fell asleep. hahaha
there were a couple of other incidents, but i dont know any links sorry

If you can't find any more of Dachshunds, try looking for videos with Doberman Pinschers or Labrador Retrievers. Narcolepsy is genetic and can be found in those particular breeds. Other breeds can suffer from neurologic disorders - Beagles and St. Bernards can suffer from epileptic siezures as an example. You can thank selective breeding from inside a relatively closed genetic pool for that. While that helps preserve desired traits in a breed, it also brings together the dangerous ones which normally should be diluted by breeding outside the family.

I have a 2' long wiener myself. :D

Does it go limp and fall asleep when it gets excited?

My wiener won't leave me alone when it gets excited. When it's excited and erect in a vertical orientation, it can be up to 3' tall. Especially when it's trying to wake me up in the morning because it wants to get fed. Mrs. Kevster usually wakes up before I do so she takes care of it. ;)

I can understand if you're all jealous, it's very "attached" to me. Having a wiener like mine is both a blessing and a curse, but I manage it all right. One of the neat things about it is that it gets excited very quickly (which can be a problem at times too), so no viagra for this wiener. :P
