so some cereal company - whichever one makes frosted flakes - has LIGTHSABER SPOONS in every box. could i be more excited?

got my coupons... got a sale at schnucks... got a cabinet, with two lonely half boxes of cereal left, begging to be filled.

oh, yeah. it's shopping time! and eg is insisting on wearing his darth vader helmet and cape. this should be good. :hihi: he's been answering most questions lately with either "you don't know the power of the dark side" or "your powers are weak, old man."

oh, man, what a trip. it's going to take me at least two hours to blog it properly. here's the brief version: burping in the voice changer mask will make you laugh so hard you cry. we got the spoons... and omg they LIGHT UP! AND crispix has a $6.99 mail-in for an r2d2 bowl that beeps and boops at you.

and finally... had to go to the asian food store... eg had taken off the mask by then, but was wielding the spoon... he walked up to the checker and asked her if there were any noodles in here for him to do battle with :lmfao:

Are ya talking about the Vader mask helmet with the voice box thingy? My nephew has one and it's the funniest. Big ole helmet head and little body walking around saying, "I am you Daddy!"

Now that's good stuff.

Btw, are the spoons in any other cereals? I like the ones with the dry fruit.

they're only in my least favorite cereals... corn pops and honey smacks. i thought the commercial i saw showed em in frosted flakes, but haven't found any in the store... maybe they jsut haven't put out the new stock yet. all the other kellogs cereals have cool boxes with jedi memory to cut out and stuff, but not the spoons. crispix has the beep-boop bowl... and keebler cookies have your choice of c3po, r2d2, or darth vader cookie jars for $6.99 and 2 upc's :P

Boy finds snake in cereal box

LONDON (Reuters) - A British boy sitting down to breakfast had a nasty surprise when he discovered a two-foot long snake inside his box of cereal.

Jordan Willett, 5, thought he had found a toy when the serpent -- a harmless corn snake -- slithered out of the packet of "Golden Puffs" his parents had bought from discount store Netto in Telford, central England.

"It was quite long and popped its head up. I've seen snakes on TV before but never in a box of cereal," he told the Daily Mail newspaper.

Netto said Wednesday it was talking to its suppliers to review procedures and check on its stock.

"This does seem to be a bizarre incident but we are treating it seriously," said Netto trading director Clive Cooper.

Corn snakes, which feed on mice and birds, are commonly kept as pets.

I got mine in a box of Frosted Flakes from Target :)
