Ipod deals, also could use recommendation

My daughter wants an Ipod, she is 12. Any recommendations and where to good a deal?

The refurbs directly at Apple.com are great deals IMHO. They are as good as new, same warranties. Otherwise, it's hard to find any real deals since the price is pretty set. I wouldn't buy off ebay if I were you. If you actually get delivery, it's often broken items when it's hot computer parts.

I disagree, you can get quite the decent deal on ebay. You just need to purchase from someone with a history.

if you go for one, look for an ipod mini. many people have problems filling up the 20 gig hdd yet alone your 12 year old daughter. the ipod mini (shuffle isnt as popular) is small and a lot less $$$
