Cancun baby! I am stoked. I got in on this awesome deal. Two roundtrip tix plus 4 nights at the Westin hotel for only $1500 total. Any of you people have suggestions on where to go? Any good hikes. We'll definitely hit the ruins. Should we rent a car? I'll post pics when I come back. Yeehaa! Gonna hit Senor Frog

My g/f just got back from Riveria Maya (south of Cancun). She went for a week (7 days and nights) at an all-inclusive resort for $100 more. They didn't really want to sight-see too much, but whatever they wanted to do, there was a bus that would take them everywhere.

/closest thing I can do for trying to relate to this thread

Actually drinking unsterilized water anywhere but your own local can give you simaler effects. Just different microbes in the water.

Safe? It's safe but you won't be happy with yourself. It's kinda unavoidable. I wonder what a drop of bleach in a gallon of water would do.

Have fun! I just got back from Japan last night. I'll be posting pics sometime soon I'm sure. Until then, I've got a ton of errands and getting life back in order for the usual daily grind.
