i'm looking into purchasing a PDA primarily to function as a GPS navigational system while in my car, and to use for simple scheduling purposes on the side as well. i'm not looking for anything loaded with fancy extras as far as regular PDA features go, but i'd like the GPS bundle to be sufficient enough for those times when i'm lost on the road.

anyone have any reccomendations or good experiences with either or both of these items? anything that i should look for when deciding? any helpful websites would be nice, but most sites that i've found have been either outdated or have included TOO much information...and i'd really just like to narrow it down to a few good choices.

Well, I'm a garmin guy, and they make the IQue. From what I read, it's a very good combination of PDA and GPS.

With other PDAs, you'll need to get a GPS module, but I don't know much about those.

If I may ask, why do you need to get a PDA/GPS? Do you need the PDA functions? Would a simple handheld or GPS unit do fine (i.e. Streetpilot series).
