Looking for Athlon64 Laptop deal

Looking to find some options for a good one for multimedia.

At least 1gb memory w/ a 17in screen minimum and around $2k-$3k. Are there some brands or stores I should check?

Seen the deals for intel from Dell, but I really don't want to, but the financing and coupons are tempting. A 17in laptop for around $1600 and a 2yr accidental damage warranty is pretty tempting.

I bought a Sharp with an Athlon 64 2700+ processor, and am very pleased. It's only 15" - but the brightest 15" display I've ever seen on a laptop. Fitted with a DVD burner and 512MB of RAM (goes just past a gig) - it set me back only $1200 at Sam's Club. It's an Actulus AL-27.

Just did a good search, and J&R has them as refurbs for $999.88!
