View Full Version : NSS: not breaking a light bulb when i stepped on it in bare feet

was putting up a light fixture in my wife's craft room in the basement and i dropped the old one on the floor. it was just a bulb screwed into a porcelain base.

i jumped off the ladder and landed right on the bulb. the bulb didn't break but it did break the part it was screwed into away from the fixture. thank God! i can't imagine how bad that would have sucked to imbed a light bulb in my foot. wow.

Oh goodness, I can imagine the world of hurt you'd be in. It's funny how many lame brained things we do when working around the house. It's like we just shut down our brains.
