Anyone ever get restricted at PayPal.com ?

I posted a message on usenet that had a referal link in it, and now I can't take withdraw my money from my Ebay auctions. I sent an appeal to their appeals department, but I haven't received a response. This happen to anyone else ever ? I'm a little annoyed that they can hold my money (which is all legimate, I never receieved even one referal bonus anyway) and I can't seem to do anything about it. Do they even have a phone number, because I can't find one on their web page. Any advice or comments are appreciated.

I'm really annoyed at PayPal. All it takes is one usenet twit to complain and they suspend my account without even contacting me first. I don't even think what I did is technically spamming anyway because my post was on-topic. I don't like their attitude about Spam, because when I think about it PayPal has basically made a business of spamming Ebay. According to PayPal's explaination, my post on usenet ends up costing the world thousands of dollars because of the processing time wasted at various servers that handle usenet (when usenet is all garbage, porno and piracy anyway). Man I am steamed, I want to collect my auction money ...

Xcom was a lot better, I think they actually warned me twice about posting on usenet and never did anything. Plus, all they threatened to do was revoke my referral dollars. I think freezing your account at a bank without a court order might be illegal. However, paypal probably has no rules governing it.

That's the thing, they're not a bank, so I'm not sure what kind of recourse I have. According to their restricted account faq the worst outcome will be that my balance will be sent to me via check. The thing that worries me is that I posted the offending message about 3 weeks ago, I know that I really pissed off a few people in that group, and I'm pretty sure they turned me in pretty quickly, I get a restriction notice on Friday. I wonder how long they will take to respond to my "appeal".
