Because if you are looking for a REAL webhost which offers uptime guarantees and no banners/spam/ads, you are not likely to find a free site which is suitable. This is especially true if you'd like a business site hosted =)

But he is Right Majong.. Free Webhosting.. isnt your Best Bet if you want a REAL Website.. if its just a Blog.. then by all means :)

Thanks for the bump ;) I noticed the web site url in your sig - looks like you're a host yourself? At the lower end plans, yours seem to offer more, but at higher end... =)

You are correct.. You offer more Bandwidth on Your "Higher Plans" .. For a Lot more Cash :) .. I Do not offer as much bandwidth.. because 95% of the population that will have a website Will not Need it .. And will never use it (At this time) .. as things change.. Plans may change which means people Will automatically be set up with the Revised Plan.. That would only go up .. Not down. Most Webhosts Either Oversell bandwidth they really Do not have.. Or just Offer "More Bandwidth!!!" .. To Entice people into buying their Product.. Eventhough that person will never use it. I do not believe in marketing my company in that way. And We also work with people on bandwidth needs If they need more.. The price is not much different.
