You should be able to return it but the current price will be applied on the return.

however it does depend on the store, some places are begining to not return items unless you have a really long and boring story and they will do anything to get rid of you or if you are 19 and cute.
Target comes to mind as one that does not do returns or exhanges unless you have a recipt. Cracking down on fraud and scams. Why should they foot the bill for dishonest people? Although this does hurt those who lose their recipt. Just keep them for a month is my way of stopping headaches.

I have returned unopened DVDs to Wal-mart in the past with no problem.

a Friend of mine returned a Ton of Unopened stuff to Walmart.. (It wasnt DVD's.. it was Star Wars Figurines.. ) But they did take them.. if that says anything.. And it was like 200 of them.. So.. shrug.. If all else fails.. sell them to a used place.. if no one will take them.. or on Ebay.. if you have the time.. most things tend to sell for what they cost new in the store.. these days. Although not always.
