View Full Version : Looking for a specific LCD...

Hey everyone -

I'm looking for an LCD (prefer a cheap 17") that sits directly on the desktop, as low as possible - with a picture frame or kickstand type of support rather than a monitor stand. Something like this one, but without all of the multimedia crap:

Anyone have any suggestions?

Doesn't shuttle sell one to match the Shuttle XPC systems. It has a stand I think that might be removable.

Apple's LCDs have that.

Any Dell LCD has a removable stand. I doubt it would be difficult to add a kickstand thingy to the back of one. They are good and affordable too.

all mac screens that i can remember have that kickstand... but they're all overpriced...

Apple was the first one I though of too, but looks like the smallest screen they're selling these days is the 20".

That Shuttle LCD is PERFECT, but they only sell thru ebay. I'll have to see if I can set up a Paypal account against the corporate credit card.

$400 bucks...ouch. I wish I had that much money. Does it look like you can slide it the screen up and down? Comes with a built in handle too. Neat.
