My kid is going to drive my 10-year-old beatup when she reaches her driving age. She might get a Civic (if it is still around) when she graduates HS. :P

Maybe it was buy three get one free day. You have to know the advertisement value of this is way up there. More than enough for the dealership to give them a really good deal. Probably better than really good!
Those southern belles do like to look their best no matter how old they are.
Daddy probably could thank a years worth of tummy tucks for the $$$
to buy those cars. :)

I feel bad for the poor sap with the white one.
On a related note, I never want to hear anyone complain that taxes on the rich are too high.

Good choice in vehicle, btw. I can't tell who got the 4 doors and who got the coupes, but that will give you a good idea of their personalities and needs are. I am actually surprised they all didnt get the much better looking coupes.
On a related note, Americans have the right to complain about anything they want to. Especially taxes.

"At my practice, we've leased three Infinitis for our office managers in the past," said Dr. Blevins. "All of us were impressed with Infiniti's strong reputation in style and safety."
"Even though my kids are driving something that's one-hundred times better than what I drove at their age, they're happy with their new cars and just love them and feel very thankful and fortunate to have them," said Dr. Blevins. "This is a day my wife MaryJo and I have been planning for eighteen years - they have been great children and we think they will appreciate the lasting quality of Infiniti. This is definitely a once in a lifetime experience."
Heh... well obviously the Doctor really likes the Infiniti offerings. BTW... just because he bought the cars doesn't mean that he paid straight out cash for them. Even at a $600 - $750 per month payment he's only paying about $2400 - $3000 per month for them. Which is probably realistic for someone of his profession.

i bet most americans still don't drive cars like that.
i think even getting 4 honda civics would be huge...but for infinitis...man.
if i had quadruplets, i'd MAYBE get 2 cars but more likely 1 and 4 cell phones so they can tell each other to pick each other up.

The fact that he has already done a good bit of business with the dealership would make getting a good deal that much easier. As for the mix of coupes and sedans, it may have been part of the deal. The sedans are supposedly moving at a much slower rate than the coupe...thus, to get the best rate he might have had to agree to take a 50/50 mix.
Either way, it does seem a bit excessive but plenty of parents buy their kids nice cars for their 16th birthday or HS graduation. But for the fact that they arent going to a top school, I would have made the arguement that they may all have had top grades too.

Might I ask why? Just because he wants to make a purchase that the rest of us consider frivolous does not mean he doesn't deserve to have the money in the first place.

I agree. It's part of living in a capitalistic society (and even most communist societies now).

cool, i love my G35X those kids are going to enjoy them :)
Good for them if the guy says his kids were good and desered the cars, then why not give it to them. I want to give my kids, when i have them, what i didn't have as a kid... which would be extremely hard :) But lets say starting the age of 12, i want to give them the most.
BTW regarding taxes on the rich, just because they are the rich doesn't mean they should be taxed more :p
