View Full Version : Blocking all websites except 1 / Allowing just 1 Website
Is there a way, in Windows XP or through user policy on Win2k Server to block users from accessing all websites except for a certain designated one?
If not, does anyone have experience with any software that does this? While searching the net I get a bunch of amateur-like looking websites whose software I'm not sure I could trust.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: BTW, it needs to be so that lets say, I set it up to allow access to dealdonkey.com, they should be able to access anythign on that domain, like dealdonkey.com/uploader/

Is this computer part of a network, or stand-alone?
Part of a network. I found a way to do it after spending several hours figuring it out. It was a trick that was meant to be for IE 5.x on 98 and below but worked on IE6 and XP Pro. I don't have the link here at home but I have it at work, so if anyone wants to know, send me a pm :). It used the content advisor and a custom rating system file. If anyone has a better way to do it through like Window 2000 Server group settings or anything, that'd be great.

Ahh.. Well that sucks.. if that did that to us at Work... we might actually.. well.. "WORK" God Forbid!
Ya, I was doing it to people at work. I was tired of having to fix their **** because they were busy browsing unsafe sites.
