so, i've been at my apartment for a good year now...and there is no fan/hood for the kitchen stove...you can imagine the oil residue that has accumulated on the microwave and walls and what not...

and now since it's "school-is-over-so-lets-get-some-sh!t-done" time...we're doing a lil cleaning...

what/how would you guys suggest i remove that grime/crap?

Nothing like a fresh coat of paint... j/k :)

Some sort of spray on degreaser... the soaking kind maybe.

Any cleaner with orange oil works pretty darn good on grease.

oh please, stick with AMMONIA..and lots of it-and paper towels...make sure you vent the place while you use it though...it cuts right through goop.

Yep that stuff is the best on grease.

when I moved out of the last base house, I was using it on the back wall behind the stove and it was taking the layer of paint off. There was grease behind the layer! I stopped and showed it to the inspector and she told me not to worry about it, that they would paint over it...

Go to a home improvement store or a paint store and get this solution they use to leech the oils out of paint. Works great on oils.

409 Pro I have vut through 5 years of grese with that stuff. I am not even sure if it is still on the market it was some stong stuff. I think you could take rust off a car bumper with that stuff.
