Yup - I'm now officially a college graduate with a B.S.E.E. It is definitely bittersweet because I saw off so many of my friends going out all over to do better and greater things (or simply to go back home) but at the same time I'm done with at least one phase of my education.
I am home for 8 days before I move into an apartment - my first one because I was an RA for the better part of college - and begin working full-time with Fidelity Investments. In September I plan on going back to school to get an M.S. by August 2006 but if my work schedule is able to accomodate school as well then I may try and do double duty. Otherwise back to school for round 2.
It feels good - I'm now a college graduate and that lets me check a different box on surveys now.
Now time to let my liver recover from Senior Week...

Haha - sucker - I'm still not in the "real world." That's why I'm "going back to school" so I can infinitely avoid it until school forces me out! :naughty:
On a more serious note, thank you.

Actually half of my graduate school tuition is subsidized/picked up by the school and I owe the other half which I will be picking up with loans.
I will work as an hourly TA if I can't get the Fidelity job to line up together, but seeing as the Fidelity position is a 50K/yr position maybe if I keep it I won't be in debt - heck, I'd be able to pay off some of the undergraduate debt.
