I think he was just trying to catch a free ride from the truck. Save a little gas.
You know he dirtied his pants when that came crashing through his windshield. Good thing he didn't hurt anyone else.

wow, the logs slid right off the trailer :gle:
when i get behind log trucks sometimes it crosses my mind that the logs might not be secure and come sliding off like that.

I'm fairly certain they only slid off because of the impact of the truck. Normally, they would only extend about 6' over the back of the trailer. Big loggers like that aren't meant to be impacted from the rear.

Which is why you should not be on the phone when operating a vehicle. I can't believe how many idiots I see doing that.

Well, it would seem that Canadians can drive no better with a cell phone than Californians. :) Can you hear me now?

studies have shown that ete movement and awareness are significantly reduced while driving and talking on a cell phone, even if using a hands free phone. there was a story on 60 Minutes or Dateline or one of those shows showing the study results and how it was conducted.
yea... drivers are stupid up here...
