Australia to Los Angeles Flight (BNE - LAX)

ok well i need a return flight to los angeles from brisbane australia, last time i done the trip i done a round the world and it cost me just under $5000 and now im just looking at going to la instead of everywhere and they are trying to charge me almost $1900 inc taxes..(AUD) and no way im going for that, if anyone knows a good site to go to or knows of any deals or anything can u let me know please

BNE to LAX Return
Leave between 10th and 19th of August
stay anywhere between 1 week and 3 months

so alot of variables but still nothing comes up cheap....errr please help!

i think you should consult some travel agents and let them do the leg work to find you a good price. one way tickets are often as expensive as round trip.

lol yeah one ways can be but im going to be entering the states on the visa waiver so i have to have an outgoing ticket, i have been to three travel consultants and been to our 2 major airlines website searching for prices on those date and everytime the price seems to get a little bit higher then when i last looked, but yeah was wondering if anyone has just accidently come accross something on the net that might help a little, lol even $100 less is good, cuz im only 19 without endless supplies of money :P

If you are 19, and a student you might want to check out some of the student travel groups. STA and Student Universe are the ones that I am aware of, but both seem to have policies against people flying from AU to the US.

I did a quick search and the best price I got was the same price as you.
