I hate kids

Yes, I'm a mother, but I hate kids. Mine are cool because I can scream at them and beat them. But I'm currently babysitting a 19 month old from 8am-530pm for $50 a week. Yeah, pretty sucky pay. Plus this baby is a royal pain. I actually hate this kid. I'm good to her, but I don't like her. She's a monster. She gets into the trash can, throws all the trash everywhere, hides my computer mouse, hides my phone, beats up my 10month old daughter, hits her, pushes her, takes her toys from her. I really want to smack her, but there's something about hitting other people's kids that is wrong. *sigh* I'm going to quit this crappy job.

However, the best thing about this job is that I get to torment her with my vampire dolls! She screams bloody murder and I just die laughing!

Well, try to make the best of the situation until they find someone else-but tormenting the kid only makes you a big of a brat is she is ;) ....Don't forget-she's not even two years old yet-try and be patient..and take your frustration out on her..
I had to watch one of my nieces when my oldest daughter was 2..my niece was 4 1/2 and a huge P.I.A..(and still is now that she is older)..she got on my nerves, BIG TIME..I had to keep reminding myself that she was only a kid...so I feel for ya..but..
give her something to keep her occupied-like play doh or bread cut into shapes and the time will pass quickly..

Have to agree with you, I only like my own kids too. But most kids who act out are usually just really bored and need something to do even at 19 months old. This is when their brains are like sponges so maybe take the opportunity to teach her the alphabet and numbers...you will be surprised at how much they want to learn...oh yeah...and good luck.

One thing I have always said about Kmart/Walmart and Big Lots! (Formerly Pick-N-Save):

At Kmart/Walmart, you can slap your own kids around and nobody will say anything... at Big Lots!, you can slap around other people's kids and nobody will say anything. ;)

I feel bad for the kid cause she is learning her bad behaviour from somewhere...which means she will never really know how to socialize properly because she will be judged on how she acts..which at her age isnt really her fault.

I feel bad for her mostly because I don't think her mom wants to be a mom. The baby wakes up at 730am, comes here at about 750am. Her mom picks her up at about 545pm, and puts her in bed at 730pm. I don't think her mom spends much quality time with her, playing and teaching and what not. The baby's taking her diaper off whenever she pees, and I told her mom she's very ready for potty training. She told me that she's not ready to deal with teaching the baby how to use a potty. WTF??

Wow I wish my 3 would of said "ok nough wit da diaper". Shame some people shouldnt have to get a licence to procreate...sounds like this kid has alot of potential to be smart but her mother is stifling her. Yup...the saying is true...you cant pick your family.... :nuts:
