OK- last one of these. "Life Guard Tower" taken in Pacific Beach. Rather than putting this one in the Night Time and Low Light category I submitted it for "Color; Scenic".

Wow, I never saw a life guard tower like that before. Is it made of that vinyl siding or something. It looks super slick. Nice pic, btw.

I just saw the list of accepted pictures and they only took two of mine- "Behind The Yellow Line" and "Still Life". I thought the seals would make it.

Aww Still Life esp imo has a damn good chance!

You never know what people will like. A friend suggested that they probably had lots of seal pictures and were tired of them- even if it was cute! You could win with a picture in one place and get no votes in another. I will try to get some idea of what they do like when I go up there this year. I didn't pay attention to the winners last year (maybe they weren't posted yet anyways) but remember looking around thinking "I've got things that will fit in here." I am not sure when the final judging and awards are announced, but there is a Judge's Roundtable scheduled for next Wednesday. We'll see how it goes. My next project I want to do is a San Diego calendar.
