OK- I made you sit through my pictures for the Fair, so I'll give you a couple today. There is a Pro Beach Volleyball Tournament going on this weekend at Mariner's Point- which for those who don't know is near on the Mission Bay side from the Rollercoaster. Admission is free so you might want to stop by and check it out. I got these today (Friday) after I got off work. First, an action shot. No idea who these guys are- I honestly couldn't name any pro volleyball players.

Yes, there is a women's division too so don't feel left out, guys! Say Hi to Suzanne! (at least that is what her bottoms say).

Or you could join the amateurs on the main beach. These guys didn't let a silly thing like not having a net stop them.

the guy in the first picture isn't picking a side on his attack, if he'd do that, he wouldn't hafta worry about that block at all....and they call themselves pros :P

Sure. You are supposed to look pretty no matter what you're doing. And bending over....well that's just a plus. :naughty:

No, that is pretty much how you stand when waiting to receive serve. Once the ball is in the air the hands will come off the knees fairly smoothly. Trust me, I grew up playing that game at a very competitive level and with several people who went on to be professionals.

As for the pictures. They are actually pretty good. The guy in the first one blocking is just asking to have his fingers broken. I had my left pinkey broken in two places once while blocking just like that. :disa:

i disagree. the hands can be at the knees but shouldn't be resting on them.

and how bout you bend over Merly? i need a place to plant my foot. :D
