Sirius has a $50 rebate on some of their radios. Not sure if any of them are what you are looking for. You have to have at least a six month subscription to get the rebate.

Does your Dad like any particular sports? If so, that might decide which one to go with. Sirius has NBA, NHL, and NFL. XM has MLB, Nascar, and IRL.

As far as deals, XM has a pretty good one. Buy any XM radio, and get a free Roady2: http://www.xmradio.com/doubleplay/index.jsp

Roady2 for $90 here: http://www.myradiostore.us/bundles/car/roady2-sa10085.html
