I bought a whiteboard a while ago and stuck it to my wall via those square foam stickers they provide. I just removed it off the wall, but the stickers remained on the wall. I scraped off all the foam, but the sticky part remains on the wall. I really can't scrap it off as it'll damage the wall.

The squares look like this:

Any ideas?

Peanut butter? I read where it will take tar off of your car.

 No chance!

Might attract some wild animals, though.

nail polish remover works on super glue, maybe it'll work here.

Whenever we install new window decals for customers and we have to remove old ones first, I always used Goo Gone, stuff works awesome.

Just be careful of harsh chemicals and paint on your walls. It might not be there when you are done.

Test it in a spot you normally don't see (close to the floor behind the couch).

It varies depending on paint.

Personally I haven't had an issue with goo gone and I have used it a lot.

That actually might not be so far-fetched. If one of your (speaking to the general audience, not you in particular, johnny) kids ever gets chewing gum in their hair, the best way to get it out is to attack it with peanut butter. It will disolve the chewing gum. Of course, a few rounds of shampoo are necessary next....

OMG NO..it will remove paint and dissolve dry wall!
Use rubbing alcohol...and some elbow grease.

Careful with the goo gone on drywall and paint. I made a mess when I was in HS with that junk.
