Grab a quarter and hold it between your knuckles on your first two fingers. Now without using your thumb, try to roll it to the next pair of knuckles and so on - back and forth.

My favorite personal dexterity exercise? Watch a Michael Moore video and see how long I can hold a fist without hitting anything.:mad2:
Of course, some other people might have the same reaction for entirely different reasons... ;)

My boss taught me this one and I am far from mastering it.
Start with both index fingers together. Then move them both in *opposite* directions to the bottom of a circle, then start rotating them in opposite directions to form said circle over and over.
Now, you may be thinking "Thats easy", but make sure you are doing it in opposite directions, what you may think is opposite and is easy is certainly not.
He does it so damn well he can do figure 8's while doing it, perfectly. It's nuts.

Ok, I was all, "Huh? That's easy."
But then I realized that you meant that the finger TIPS are together. That's hard.
I was doing the entire length of my fingers together, and that was a piece of cake.

Yeah, the fingertips must meet together at the top and bottom of the circle going in opposite directions.

You can always give the rubber band trick (http://www.gotapex.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51896) a try. That takes some practice.

Go watch the Naruto series and imitate the ninja symbols. It will increase your manual dexterity and give you plenty of frog legs for dinner.

How about playing a musical instrument for manual dexterity?
guitar, violin, piano, saxaphone, clarinet, etc etc etc. all very manual dexterity oriented.

Yeah, they are pointing at eachother at the top and bottom. Always pointing inwards around the circle.
