So I went to a Korean store this past Saturday and bought these Sugar Free saltine crackers - I love them - and about to buy more hopefully later tonight - I started reading the ingredients. It reads as follows: Wheat flour, Shortening, Maltose Syrup, Whole Milk preparation, Salt, Malt extract, Soybean Oil, Sodium Bicarbonate, yeast,CRACK FLAVOR :gle: , Graham flavor, enzyme.
Now I know why they taste sooooo goood. :heh: :D

See, this is what happens when you use one of those crappy industrial-type yeasts. The only way you can get people to eat it is by using crack flavoring. :disa:

Lactose: Sugar from milk.
Maltose: Sugar from malt
Fructose: Sugar from fruit
Dextrose: Sugar from starch "corn sugar"
Sucrose: Refined sugar from sugar cane or beats
as diabetics will know-anything that ends in "ose" is a sugar of some sort..

I think it is because the crackers are advertised as Sugar free too - so not only does it really have sugar in it - it has Crack flavor too.... :gle:
