Going to ride 300 Miles for Make-A-Wish...Care to sponsor me?

Hey all...I'm riding 300 miles for Make-A-Wish again this year and am looking for sponsors.

Wish-A-Mile (WAM) 300 bicycle tour is a huge fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan. We are trying to raise over $600,000 for seriously/terminally ill kids.

I will be riding the 300 miles from Cheboygan to Milford on my bike July 28-31. The most priceless part of the trip is people staring at me saying....ummm...YOU'RE gonna ride 300 miles??? Actually, the best part is meeting the kids we sponsored and hearing how great it was for them to get away from their medical problems for a little bit and enjoy time with their family.

I need to raise $500 for the event and would appreciate anything you can give, no matter how small. Seriously. Most of my pledges were in the $5-10 dollar range (w/the exception of a few very generous Apexers last year that asked not to be identified) and I reached my goal.

I think that link will work, just change the parameters with your actual information. Change "Cheapie" to your email name, "YOUREMAILDOMAIN" to your domain and change "COM" to com/net or whatever your email address ends in. Make sure to remove the quotation marks. If anyone thinks that won't work speak up now!

btw, hoser...i'm not sure. i have a bunch of checks coming in the mail so i'm guessing i'm in the mid $400's. thanks in LARGE part to my fellow apexers. it's funny. very few of my close friends have donated. but people that know people helped by the program tend to donate even though we have never met.
