BANGKOK, Thailand -- A young Thai man with a history of moodiness has killed himself by gluing his mouth and nose shut with super glue.

Bangkok police said the young man's body was found Thursday morning in his bedroom, apparently after suffocating overnight. They said a small amount of cash and a note saying, "Here is all that I have, take what you please" were also found on the bed.

The man's family told police he had argued with his sister Wednesday over some money she'd borrowed and not repaid. He went into his bedroom, where his body was found 10 hours later

They do say that the guy has a history of moodiness... maybe he was depressed or had some other psyche problem. A lot of cultures (especially asians) don't really take psyche issues seriously and just attribute it to moodiness and stuff. I can easily see a severely depressed person doing this to themselves.

either that or maybe he just let one go and was trying to use superglue to get past the smell and things just went wrong from there.

Yeah, one of the first things I thought when I read that article was "man... he got his sister good with that stunt. There is a guy willing to put a lot on the line to win an argument." In a kinda weird way, I like to think that that was his intent because it would be easier for me to understand that and even respect him a little.

If he really wanted to I guess he could have punctured his cheeks with a knife or cut his own mouth open, but then again, I'm sure he was consumed with panic after so many seconds and not able to think it through.
