Having trouble recording video with a Firewire Pinnacle MovieBox. My Desktop, which uses an Adaptec FireConnect 4300 3port Firewire card for the FW connection does not seem capable of providing the live video stream to the PC. The Moviebox works fine when connected to my Laptop. My DV camera exhibits the saem problem on the desktop and works on the laptop. I have made sure the latest drivers available are installed.
Does anyone have some helpful hints on fixing problems with a PCI based FireWire card?
