I am thinking of getting a new monitor.. Was looking at the Widescreen 24 from Dell.. but I dont think I want to upgrade my Vid Card and essentially Entire computer after that (cause I would go PCI Express) ..

So.. Im looking at maybe just getting two Flat Panel 17" .. From Dell.. is the 230$ price the best that has been on here in a while? .. Seems like a decent deal but if they can go cheaper I can wait a bit.

Would love to do two 19".. but I havent seen a deal for those lately..

And two 20.1 is a little expensive for my computer :)

What are your guys thoughts or deals you may have seen?

I dunno about your preferences, but I'd much prefer the 24 widescreen over 2 17's or 2 19's even. I have a 24 widescreen Samsung at work and I try to do everything possible on it... even work I need to get done at home. I also have dual 19's setup on another machine... and they sit more than they are used, just because the 24 is so much easier to use.

Not sure what vid card you have, but a 9800 pro will run the 24 widescreen easily...

TI4600.. Which I dont think supports the resolution.

I'm pretty sure the 4600 should handle 1920x1600 resolution fine, nvidia's site is retarded or I am but i couldn't find a specific listing of resolutions supported http://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce4ti.html

However according to this review it can handle it http://www.ocworkbench.com/2002/msi/gf4ti4600/gf4ti4600p0.htm

Even though thats a MSI card i'm sure whatever brand you got should be the same since the drivers are all the same.
