I always assumed that craig's list was for California for some reason. I went to look at it today cause I'd never been there. And noticed the listing of cities & countries on the side. Figured no way would sompelace like Wichita be listed. and hot damn, it is!
Scott & I contacted 2 places about a job. One is a guy in Florida who is selling his in-law's house here and needs someone to go and open the door and make sure it's locked when people want to see the house. He also had an ad for someone to clean it and do a few small repairs (fix a step outside, one door needs a new deadbolt put in, etc) to get it ready for sale. He is contacting the friend of his in-laws that lives a few blocks away that has a key so we can get the key from them to go look at it and make sure it's something we think we can handle. :D Get paid some for that then when it sells, get a substantial bonus. yay. heh
I also applied for a typist (to transcribe documents) position. Pays $4/page and most are 20-60 pages. So... Would be great extra money. :)
