I "graduated" from jobs based on looks to jobs based on brains. Now I'm hating things, wishing for a miracle, and praying for something to put on my resume.

I don't wanna be a cocktail waitress anymore. I don't wanna model anymore. Matter of fact anything that objectifies me leaves me feeling awful about myself and wishing I was in sweatpants eating Ben and Jerry's with 12 cats and watching The Bitter Women's channel on cable.

I accumulated skills during all those years but my mountain is really a molehill here in the DC powersuit market.

A joke I just made up-
What did the temp agency say to the model?
Nothing. She couldn't get an interview.

If you happen to see my confidence running around the streets to Alexandria trying to get into a bar with an application in it's hand STOP HER! Tell her to go home, brush up on Excell, and come up with a good story to fill the gaps in the resume.

I'm sure she can do receptionist work and know how to pick up a phone. I wonder what her degree is in just in case the modeling thing didn't take off for as long as she hoped.
