I need a USB2 port so I bought a USB2/Firewire combo card, the company is IOGear. There is no way it fits in any of my slots, what the card is missing is a small cutout in the long plug. Does anyone know how I can determine what is compatible with my crummy DELL? I ran into this before when I bought a modem, it took a few tries. A few people took their Drummel and carved out that spot, should I do that? The pin that is in my way as far as I can tell had no circuitry at that spot.

I turns out I don't have PCI slots but ISA. I can't seem to find an ISA card that has USB2 ports.
I honestly don't think they would make that. I spent some time searching and I couldn't come up with any product results.

The dell 600sc has one normal PCI slot (one 32-bit, 33-MHz slot), it is the last slot on the motherboard. That is where people are putting USB 2 or sound cards. I just went through my 2nd motherboard on the system and not sure what to do with it now. I love it for the 3 ide controllers but think that I may go to some other solution for storage
