I love google's search engine. I love gmail, google maps, google news, google images, personalized google. I like it how you can find conversions of various units of measurement by searching for it and it'll tell you before the search results. The same for definition of words searches. It can do that with capitals too.

But check this out. Search for this: "nintendo DS release date"

:gle:

Rumor has it that Google is considering opening a big office in Ann Arbor, MI. Now there is a company I wouldn't mind working for...

Good luck getting in. I hear it's one of the toughest companies to apply for, including the aptitude test. GREAT perks, though.

I had applied with them back in '99 when I got out of school (UofM Ann Arbor - go figure!) At that time, I did not know that they were mostly interested in PhDs. They were cool about it though.. they sent me a box FULL of t-shirts, hats, mousepads... you name it. They also told me that if I were visiting the area (Silicon Valley) they would give me a full tour of the googleplex. Beats the hell out of the typical post-card rejection letter!

That alone solidified my good view of google.

You've just stumbled upon the latest GoogleLabs product known as GoogleESP. It figures out what information you're looking for and displays it without you having to look for it. ;)

Your search - "best way to beat up Bires" - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:

- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Try different keywords.
- Try more general keywords.

I actually got offered a manager position in int. business development almost 1 year ago this month. This was after 10 interviews that spanned 4 months. Unfortunately, I just accepted a job offer at HP the day before. The VP of the div called me back in fact. Apperantly to even get that offer, I had to be approved by the two founders. That was my "wow" moment of last year.

Oh well, I love san diego :P

Dang, I guess my sources were good:

Google Bringing New Jobs to Michigan

Southfield (WWJ) -- We are good at making car engines, now add search engines as one more thing that could be made in Michigan.

Speaking live on WWJ Tuesday morning, Governor Jennifer Granholm said Google Inc will open a new facility in Ann Arbor and hire 1,000 workers over the next five years.

Too bad it's not closer. While I'd LOVE to work there, that's an hour drive each way from where I live, dang it.
