Did you get the widescreen or the regular?

Regular.. I was going to get a 24 Widescreen.. but decided I would do "Budget" shopping for once.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing, now that prices have dropped pretty dramatically. I'm using a 22" tube at the moment, and although it's a great picture, that thing is a beast.
I'm trying to decide between the widescreen & the regular screen... why did you go with the regular one vs. the 20" widescreen?

I went with regular.. cause that was linked on the deals page :) .. Didnt check to see if the Wide was on sale.. For one .. and For Two.. According to dells own account.. my video card doesnt support the "WideScreen Res" .. So.. Just in case.. I figured I would be fine with a regular.. I dont want any movies on my computer.. and generally probably wouldnt get much use out of the widescreen feature.. I could be sadly mistaken.. but I like normal shaped things :) .. anytime I see a widescreen tv.. I always think it look Tiny.. no matter how big it is .. except like the 70" ones.. but maybe im just wierd. Ill be perfectly happy with my Regular monitor :D

Yeah, guess that would be a deal killer right there!

yeah.. I guess it would run it .. but not "optimized".. and im not ready to upgrade my Vid card yet.. cause if I do .. I would go PCI-E .. And then I would need a motherboard.. then I would need a processor .. etc etc etc :)

the 20" widescreen is too small. You need the 24" to go wide screen. The 20" wide would be a good supplemental screen, but for everyday use it's just not tall enough vertically.
