By the gates of the San Diego County Fair is the World's Biggest Popcorn Machine. By comparison, you can see a standard size machine next to it and a person sitting down.
"The giant popper, which stands 23 feet high, 10 feet wide, and weighs 3,000 lbs will be on display during the fair’s June 10-July 4 run. There are two propane gas kettles inside the popper and each kettle takes approximately 7 lbs of raw corn and 2.33 lbs of oil. Each kettle will pop 130 lbs. of popped corn per hour. "
