i need an external harddrive enclosure (usb 2.0) or just a usb 2.0 to hd cable...does anyone know if staples, best buy, or circuit city sells something like this?
i looked on their sites but its no use...

Staples does not have that... Circuit city has some external enclosure's but they are expensive.. Compusa also has some cases.. I dont know whether Best buy has cases..

I don't think that BestBuy has them either. Compusa and Circuit City are both too expensive relative to what you can get online, but they have them.

www.geeks.com is a great place to get USB enclosures. I got a 3.5" (normal HD) for $19 and a 2.5" (laptop HD) for 14 a few weeks ago.

Is pretty nice-no need to reformat the drive (mine are FAT32). It's a great investment if you ever do tech support and a computer crashes and won't boot, but you need data off of it.

well i bit the bullet and ordered one from geeks.com, thanks bires, damn you cookie cutter stores :( lol
