It looks like a big candy bar phone and looks really big. But in this picture, its compared with the Motorola MPX220 smartphone, it seems like its small

I heard the Motorola MPX220 has got a lot of sound quality issues and so I didnt want to get that. Seems like some update firmware fix that but I aint playing with that.. Another phone I compared was the Audiovox SMT5600 which is also pretty good and an Awesome smartphone. This I-mate sp3i is pretty similar to the Audiovox SMT 5600 except its got joystick and it looks sexy (atlest for a smartphone)

I wanted a Windows Mobile smartphone because I would love to see BSOD On the Go! :) I have a NOkia 6600 and its also an awesome phone and symbian OS is stable as rock..

Anyway what do you think about this phone?

i have the mpx220, and so did my wife. hers dies, and cingular had a backlog of replacement orders, so they sent out the audiovox. I personally like the audiovox better.

The moto freezes up, requires a reboot every 2-3 days, and has lots of volume/answer call and enabling the mic issues.

i like the thumb thing on the audiovox, however i like the voice recognition on the moto. If i had to buy a smartphone over again, i would get the PDA phones. They seem more stable. I know I am a mac fan, so its cliche for me to bash a MS product, but smartphone has too many issues still. I have never had a phone that required reboots. I have had about 10 different phones in my life, and all of the past phones could go weeks without a reboot. Windows smartphone edition is also really slow to boot. Its a pain to answer a call, not be able to talk to the person, and have to reboot the phone. By the time the procedure is done, 3-4 minutes has passed. Pain in the ass

I was thinking about one of these: http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2005/06/portable_rotary.html
but I was wondering if it comes with a belt clip or something. How about if I hang it on a chain around my neck? I would look too happy if I stuck it in my pocket.
