Pic of The Day: 4th Beach

Believe it or not, I had to work, but I did have a little time to get down to the beach. It did not seem as crowded as last year. There were lots of tents on the beach this time too. They allowed only open sided ones. There were also lots of extra police around to control things. I unfortunately missed the fireworks. Here Channel Eight is interviewing a lifeguard while they survey the crowds. He was saying that so far they have had few problems. A bit after noon so it was still a bit early and people were still arriving.

It looks like they should start addressing the lifeguards as "Mr. Ranger".
