So we have this new client and I had to give him an orientation (as in I had to gather his company info - tell him how we answer the phones - tweak whatever his companies needs are and so forth) - an "orientation" takes no more than a half an hour of their time - I have had no problems with ANY of the clients in the past till today. This guy took OVER a week to give me the simple information - such as a script for the voicemail for me to record for him. He was TOO BUSY to just make time for a 30 min convo - at most - he had to call me back several times - or I had to call him at several occasions. He missed a few appointments that was pre arranged and so forth - you guys get the idea. So I was told that we (receptionists) just have to gather information from the callers that received this letter in the mail - and give NO information about the company or anything for that matter. :angry: So he did a test call - and then proceeded to tell me how horrible I am - and that he is articulate and had told me he had given me all the scenerios that can happen during a call - he even oh so kindly told me he would be more than happy to email me but I declined. :censored: :eek3: This is all coming from the guy that I couldn't even track down to get the voicemail script. So of course I am pissed off and about to kick his !@*&!%@ :fal: He is going to call back when he has time to continue this conversation - just like all the other times when he was TOO BUSY to get this account set up. :yell: I told my boss I was extremely upset. He told me not to be and that he and everybody is behind me knowing that I did my job and that I did it correctly and they will set the guy straight. UGH! :mad2: :angry: :splat:
