So i was driving not doing anything bad to anyone, on a one way street. I then see a parking space, turn on my blinker and start merging closer to the right side, all of a sudden BAM!!!!!
Some mentally retarded, handicapped woman driver (i know i know, it's redundant :p) rear ends me! She was really all kinds of handicapped all crooked, had a specially equiped car, her hands were all inerted she couldn't speak, was all twitchy. I am not sure how she is allowed to drive in the first place. Well whatever it happened right in front of the cops too.

Dayuuum... you really haven't had much luck with cars in NY.

Now I kinda see why some folks just stick to walkin'/mass transit there.

yea man you can't have nice things in new york you know, it just boggles the mind. They need to have the same system they have in europe. Driving test costs you 2 grand, and is like 2 hours long, testing your skills, and if you lack em you can go F*** yourself. Then we'd have better drivers

Wow, that really sucks. I guess that's what insurance is for. Bodywork and other stuff to fix that dent must go into a couple thousand easily.

On a different note, I'm impressed that the bumper on the G35x is metal. Not a whole lot of those nowadays.

Higher taxes for those who DO work in order to support the bums. Probably 50% taken out of paycheck, No way!!

Yeah, nothing like beating up handicapped people to make you feel like a real man...

Sucks you have your new car damaged--hopefully her insurance will get it fixed right for you...

Dude lighten up everyone. Just one rash thought that runs through my head when people disrespect me or my property. Just saying in a very different way that I feel your pain man.

Dude that sucks. Make her insurance fix your car right. No bondo!! Seriously. Fight to make your car worth as much as it was before the accident. Hope you get a nice rental car to drive in the meantime.

Yea i got a police report it says she rear ended me, in new york that means 100% her fault. Plus since she was all kinds of disabled i am sure she has to have a good insurance. As for rental cars, can i make her insurance pay for a rental car?

Burzhui
07-11-2005, 08:37 AM
seriously i can't be carless, you think her INS would pay for it, how do i make sure they do

You have to work through your insurance adjuster. Last year when I had the worst week of my life, the insurance adjuster was actually quite helpful. Even when the police report didn't turn out my way, they went to quite a distance to get the blame evenly split and tried to recover money (my deductible) on my behalf.

In an accident that I had, the other person's company fully paid for my rental car. Seeing as it's 100% her fault, I wouldn't expect anything less.

She will be responsible (her insurance) for your rental car. Check on what that means. Here in Georgia it means that they only have to provide basic transportation. What that means is that if they hit your Ferrari they only need to rent a Saturn for you while it is getting fixed. The cheapest option. So while you pais to drive an expensive car you are stuck driving a POS because of her.

Don't you have the Cougar still. Or better yet your dad's luxury sedan. Good enough reason to get him to loan you the nicer car.

But yeah, I hate getting a rental because of a freaking accident.

Burzhui

nah i donated the cougar a while ago, my dad's benz is just that, he uses it to go to work, i am free to use it for the evenings though
