I have a job interview tommorrow for a QA tester for a dvd company. I loved working with DVD's the last time, so I am totally enthused about this position.

Suckage: The job would be in Burbank, and I live in the South Bay. Commuting everyday is gonna suck

NSS: If I get the job, I'm quitting the one I currently have, and I will need suggestions on how to do it in the most fantastic way :shifty: :D

YAY!

YAY!

The month before I left my former job, I would watch at least 2 dvd's a day with my office door closed. I took 1.5-2 hour lunches and would spend the rest of my days talking to people on the phone. I didn't actually do any work the final month of my job. [/office space]

You could write a company wide e-mail stating how much you love them all and that you will miss them. In fact you love them all so much that you are inviting each and every one of them to come to your home and have sex with you. There will be a sign up sheet in the breakroom to limit participation to small groups, no more than four at a time...

Don't forget to pre-fill the names in for the people who have anoyed you the most. It works best if it looks like their writing.

For some of us, this is an everyday occurrence...

Yes! :D

Ok. So there is a horror story that could possibly go along with this. Thanks for the heads-up phone call. <obi wan>be mindful of my feelings</obi wan>

kinda like Grimm's, but advertise a weekly sex party club, and the 'leaders' are all the people that annoy you most. send out a meeting request(i'm assuming you use outlook as a company) and put the place as a different person's every week. those that respond with approvals you give them the phone number of the annoyance and shoot them an e-mail that they also need to RSVP at the number.

and put 'for a good time call' messages up in the bathroom(s) with those numbers

Well, I wasn't too impressed with their setup, regardless of what Coresex had told me. They seemed decent though.

Earlier today, I also ended up having another interview for a completely different kind of company, which seemed to go really well.

We'll see when I quit ;)

I would be careful with Intellikey Labs. I had a few friends who worked there early on and the company was doing great, and then they decided to open an office up north and from what i understood they fired like half the staff down here. So i'd just keep your eyes open.

Yeah, I heard all that from coresex.

I wasn't too impressed with their suite, erg.. facility so unless it's something fantanstic that they offer me, I'm going to turn it down. The second interview seems much more interested in me, and it will probably be better for me financially, emotionally, and everything else -ally :D

good lookin' out though, yo

Just a bit of "professional" advice - it's usually a good idea not to burn any bridges behind you. As tempting as it might be to "go out with a bang", if you ever need a reference, or end up with a supervisor who knows your old supervisor, etc., things can have a way of coming back to haunt you.
