Cost is an issue.

Nevermind...
After hunting/researching for a few hours, I decided to go with MSI NX6200AX (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814127174)
I was surprised at how few low/mid-end video cards were reviewed that output HDTV.
If ppl are interested, I'll post a minireview.
P.T.B: pm me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, wouldn't the card just need to be able to support DVI-out and the proper resolution(s)? You could then use a DVI-to-HDMI cable to connect her up.

My TV doesn't have an HDMI input.
Also, I used a special VGA-component cable, and while the picture did show up (after setting the correct resolution), there was a TON of artifacts and noise in the picture.
