Just in case anyone missed it. For some reason it's not showing up in my automatic check for updates, I just happened to catch it while looking for Extensions.

Odd... I just installed it and everything is fine. I went to read the info about it and saw this under known issues:

# Prior to installing Firefox 1.0.5, please ensure that the directory you've chosen to install into is clean and doesn't contain any previous Firefox installations.
# If you install Firefox on a multi-user system in an area in which there is restricted access privileges, you must run Firefox as a user with access to that location upon installation so that all initial startup files are generated. If this is not done, when a user without write access to the install location attempts to start Firefox, they will not have sufficient privileges to allow Firefox to generate the initial startup files it needs to.
# When upgrading, all your Extensions and Themes will be disabled. This is not an issue, but it may appear to be one (hence its listing here). For rationale, see "Extension and Themes" above.

I installed it in the normal, same place. and all my Extensions & themes seem to work fine... ?? heh

mine didn't show on my auto updates as well so I had to manually download it and install.

Yeah, I've been having progressively more problems with Firefox. So I've gone back to using IE. Aghast! Oh noes! :gle:  Or am I the only one who had issues with plugins and compatibility issues with hardware that's supposed to help with browsing the net.
