Travel Time? LAX-Hong Kong ~$300

United is having a huge fare sale to Hong Kong or Singapore from the US till the 22nd, I am all about going, all I have to do is tell the boss I am out for a few days, won't get paid, but I love traveling so it is worth it to me.

Anyone interested?

FYI....those $300 fares are each way so a round trip ticket is $600. Still a good deal to be sure but a little more expensive than you might think at first glance.

Also consider tax, which will be ~100-150 depending on when you go and if there are any stopovers.

:stupid: :heh: Funny, I found a flight for $1000 going from San Diego to Singapore, going through LAX. But going out of LAX directly, the fare was $1800! :nuts:

$600 is still a bargain for HongKong. I would love to go back to HongKong soon! I love those 16 hour flights! LOL
HongKong is really an amazing place, unbelievably clean! And most everyone speaks at least a small amount of English, which is very helpful.
