Okay so I'm in the process for copying some language tapes from audio cassette onto cd. I played the audio cassette and captured the file into a wave format. Before I burn the cd I'd like to insert some chapter breaks so that if I need to listen to something again I can get around a little easier. I'm thinking that I'd like to insert a chapter every 3 minutes or so. How do I do that?

Well audio isn't like video so what you need is a little program to take that giant wave file and break it into 3 minute sections. I'm sure theres enough freeware to do this i'll look real quick.

Basically you need track 1, track2,track3..........

You need a wav cutter program. If it was in mp3 format (you could easily convert it, you did copy this from a cassette so quality wouldn't be all there anyway) you could use BeCutter at:

Theres a BeSplit that you might be able to get it to work.

Good luck.
