my computer has been acting up lately.
my wireless was dead, thought it was my router, my connection, and then my AC Adapter stopped working.
honestly, i think its from my dog playing with it, but what the hell, it was broken.
so today, i stopped in my local Apple store, and waited in line for 2 hours.
i huffed and puffed around the store, and shook my head in awe of all the stupid people with stupid questions who were holding me up in line.
some lady had the dumbest question ever.
"why does my computer get so hot?"
"i keep it on all day, and i want to put it on my lap, and its too hot, and i dont like it. Somthing is wrong with it. its not supposed to do that is it?"
uhhh lady, stfu and leave. :boxing:
i was pissed.
but eventually, my tuen came, and i got my airport card replaced, and a new adapter.
my applecare had expired in march this year, but the guy did it all for free!

Awesome, probably because you had to wait so long....Worth the wait though with the price of Apple items.

I've heard that the genious bar at apple stores are usually staffed by morons...is this semi true?

you know, i think youre right.
what ive realized, is that they type in the problem in their computer, and then it tells them step by step what to do.
its not in their knowledge, its in their manual.

Yes, but to be fair, 99% of the tech staff at ANY retail store are not very qualified. This is because they don't hire computer professionals - they typically hire kids & train them from the ground up. Anyone who really knows what they're doing can earn more in a better environment - I mean, who WANTS to work retail?
