Realized this morning that the AC was on but the blower wasn't working. So called the landlord and they should be out ANY ****ING TIME (called them an hour and a half ago) to look at it.

It's 100º outside and 83º & climbing in here. Bleh. :dead:

Strange... it's kinda nice at 98 compared to the past couple weeks. Rain has been nice the past couple days too. It's safe to go outside... almost.

Tomorrow's temperatures around here are supposed to exceed 100 degrees (and the humidity will be close to that, most likely). A few minutes ago I noticed that it was getting a bit warm in the house. So I checked the circuit breaker for the AC compressor (sometimes it trips) - it was ok, but the outside compressor wasn't running. I checked the thermostat, and it was "commanding" AC, and the fan was running. I got that "uh oh" feeling. Cycled the power on everything, still no change. In a last-ditch attempt, I removed the front part of the thermostat (it's one of the Honeywell programmables that has batteries in the front part, so you can program it separated from the wall). After I put it back on and turned on the AC, everything started running. WHEW!

We live in a mobile home and our AC runs almost 24/7 (because the interior of our house is so hot from the fact that its metal and has a tin roof). We have our thermostat set at 78, I think we're gonna have to raise it otherwise we'll probably blow out the motor on our condenser unit. *sigh* And that would really suck 'cause we're broke and wouldn't be able to fix it/repair it. :disa:

We are under heat index warning here. It is said to feel like 100-110 today. I don't know that I can leave the house. But I have too.
