digicam battery

didn't know where to post this. where do you purchase your digicam battery? does name brand have advantages over generics? i'm lookin for a replacement battery for a canon sd300 digital camera. thanks.

i just some batteries from EBAY for my DSC-T1. I buy the generic ones all the time and they seem to work out pretty good. (by all the time i mean twice. once for the dcr-pc5 and once for the dsc-t1, both sony) The only thing that I have heard about generics being bad is that you should not store them fully discharged, if you do they do not work as well......
