i don't know much about rabies, but bats are definitely carriers.
i'm sure you'll wear gloves when disposing of that creature. :gle:

And bats are the only animals known to transmit rabies without actually biting the victim. Then again, most cases are in caves where lots of guano and bat saliva are in the air. :shrug:
